Charlie’s Angels

The costume atelier for Charlie’s Angels was set up at Studio Babelsberg in Germany. We implemented traditional couture dressmaking techniques for Designer Kym Barrett’s costumes, including the beautiful silver and pink sequin dress worn by Kristin Stewart. The outer shell of the sequin bodice was built onto a fitted corset, creating a powerful, angular silhouette. Likewise, the plunging neckline of Naomi Scott’s provocative red dress was enabled by the torso corset beneath. Another sequin made-to-order dress built specifically for the action-packed opening scene required a duplicate be made for the stunt double with special consideration given for movement, harness, and pads.
