Ingrid Chavez

“It was a joy to work with the beautiful Ingrid Chavez, who is a mesmerizing talent. I designed the black and gold coq feather gown for her performance at the Café de Paris in London, inspired by her theme of avian flight. Accompanying this was a gold lace eye mask, a nod to Prince, whom she sang to in the haunting musical version of her poem, You Gave Me Wings. In continuation of this theme, the gown appears on the cover of her album Memories of Flying. Two more ensembles—a heavenly feather boa cape and ethereal lace capelet of my design are worn with aplomb.” - SL
