The Amazing Spider-Man

The intricate nature of these gloves and their importance throughout the film called for the attention of not only the Costume Designer (Kym Barrett) and a Specialty Patternmaker/Cutter dedicated to the gloves (Stacia Lang), but a Specialty Seamstress, Illustrator (initial concept art), Graphic Designer, Fabric Buyer, Illustrator (printed web pattern), Fabric Printer for sublimation, Fabric Printer for dimensional printing, Prop Department (web shooters), and more. Throughout the build, the glove team coordinated with the suit team to ensure a smooth connection and registration of the gloves and graphic design to the sleeves. Zippers were installed from the wrist to the forearm for comfort breaks in-between takes.
